Josh Brown tagged me as one of the five bloggers who make him think, which is amazing since I haven’t had anything worth saying in… well.. maybe ever. I’m supposed to tag five people/blogs that make me think. (Here’s the original post that kicked this whole thing off.) Here is my top 5 list, not counting the heavyweights like Scot McKnight and Andrew Jones.
1. Adam Feldman: Adam was one of the first blogs I started reading on a regular basis, and he hasn’t let me down. We’re talking about discussions on missional living, church planting, travel, and plenty of other great topics.
2. Josh Brown: I started reading Josh a year ago. He might have tagged me, but… the simple fact is he thinks MUCH harder than I do and discusses topics much more interesting than me- like social justice, politics, economics, and religion.
3. Derek Webster: Derek was the first blog I started reading on a regular basis, and he’s the one who pointed me toward Andrew Jones. He only blogs in particular seasons (he’s in one now), and then he disappears without a trace. Still, his thoughts from the European church planting movement, understanding of postmodern and emerging thought, and reflection on missions in Western culture have challenged me since the beginning.
4. Paul Littleton: The perfect mix of emerging church and traditional SBC.
5. Paul Del Signore: I’ve just recently begun reading Paul’s blog. He’s one of the Friday Photo guys, and discusses a plethora of topics. Very interesting.
