[Just Call Me Joe]

I'm a graduate of the University of Mobile and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. After Hurricane Katrina I moved back to Mobile, Alabama for nine months, but returned to the Crescent City in June 2006. Two years to the day after that, I left New Orleans for an eleven month stay in Fort Worth, [Republic of] Texas. Now I'm back in Mobile.

I love to travel and I rarely leave home without my Canon EOS 40D. I've been to 35 states, 3 provinces, and a few countries. While living in Fort Worth I realized that being within short driving distance of a large body of salt water is important to me.

A few weeks ago I drove to Hattiesburg to see my friends Britt and Kayla. I hadn’t seen the campus of Southern Miss in a long time, so we drove around… and I stumbled upon their bowl game practice. I took one shot of the team, and was quickly harassed by one of their lackeys (actually, he was a guy I went to college with, and he was a huge jerk then, too). But I understood- they didn’t want photos to leak, which is why I waited until now to post these. Anyway, Southern Miss lost to Middle Tennessee, which is pretty embarrassing. At least the stadium is looking nicer than the last time I saw it.
